Awesome food and atmosphere. Right next to Sao Bento Station in Porto Portugal. Get a taste of Portugueses cuisine at its finest and not too expensive. Meia Nau in Portuguese means half boat. But that’s a full boat load of really good seafood. Try the fish soup.

Definitely the best shrimp I've ever had (probably better than in Madeira). Although it's a cafeteria style and you have to wait in line to order, it was worth the wait. They serve it with bread, but I recommend buying an extra one, so you can soak all the gravy in and enjoy it to the last drop. Absolutely delicious!!!

I came here for lunch and only ordered the seafood rice and grilled octopus. The seafood rice was SO SO GOOD. I honestly never tasted seafood rice à la Portuguese before, however this one taste good and perfect for my palate. It tastes somewhat fresh, i can taste tomatoes i guess…Mais avaliações

The grilled octopus, although also delicious, unfortunately not my fave. Maybe because it’s a little bit oily to my liking, and there’s not many texture to balance the octopus.

Food is great. We ordered the sardines and grilled sea bass and they were both very tasty. One of the best meals we’ve had in Porto. Would definitely be back to try other plates.

The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even though the market was crowded. If you’re visiting the market and looking for a seafood option that truly delivers, Meia-Nau is a solid choice.

If you’re a fan of grilled octopus or fried sardines, this place is a must! The Portuguese flavors were spot on—fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was prepared with care and packed with flavor. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch Portuguese cuisine.

We walked around and saw unsanitary conditions in the market… eating behind the counter, biting hang nails, itching of head and face…. BUT… the workers in Meia-Nau had hair nets and gloves!! So we decided to eat there. So glad we stayed. The seafood stew was wonderful! Plenty of shrimp and calamari… We

Had the grilled octopus 🐙 with grilled bell pebers and potatoes, which was absolutely delicious 😋. Soft, tender and succulent. The service was polite and efficient. Will definitely be back for more in the future.

The Grilled Octopus on my 2nd visit was what I needed after a long morning walking around. It was cooked fast and tasty!! Perfect octopus start to finish.
Grilled Golden Sea Bream on my 3rd visit was amazing 😍. The fish cooked perfectly and the little vegetable medley was actually yummy. Not a huge fan of mushrooms but this worked. The lemon 🍋 was a perfect addition.

It’s timeout market, just like a food court. But the food is delicious and cheaper than the original restaurant. We can order seafood rice for 1 portion, but in the restaurant you need to order for 2 portion.

Wow, blown away by the food here. Especially the octopus salad. Cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. We also had their grilled squid. It was slightly too salty but overall really delicious. I would come back again!
